Designers Collaboration – Tezuka Osamu World brings together the timeless world of Osamu Tezuka and the creative vision of contemporary Japanese illustrators.
At the center of the first collection is Astro Boy—a character that has inspired generations of fans and creators around the world.
But this time, Astro Boy is seen through a completely new lens.

Osamu Tezuka’s works have influenced Japanese manga, animation, and visual culture for generations.
Rather than simply reproducing classic artwork, this project explores something different:
How can legendary Japanese characters be reimagined through the eyes of today’s creators?
For the first collection, two Japanese illustrators—GIVE ME TOMOTAKA and MAKURA—bring their own distinctive visual languages to Astro Boy.
The result is two completely different interpretations of the same legendary character.
GIVE ME TOMOTAKA — Retro Pop Meets the Future
Inspired by retro toys, classic anime, and pop culture, GIVE ME TOMOTAKA creates a colorful and instantly recognizable visual world.
For this collaboration, Astro Boy’s futuristic technology and internal mechanics are transformed into a playful, maze-like electronic circuit.
Bold outlines, vivid colors, and a nostalgic comic-book feeling give Astro Boy a fresh energy while still celebrating the character’s original retro-futuristic spirit.
It is a meeting point between nostalgia and modern street culture.
MAKURA — Neo Retro Street
MAKURA approaches Astro Boy from a completely different direction.
Influenced by modern fashion, Y2K culture, cyberpunk, and global street style, MAKURA describes this visual world as “Neo Retro Street.”
The design takes inspiration from Astro Boy’s legendary energy and “100,000 horsepower,” transforming it into powerful, dynamic graphics.
The result feels less like traditional character merchandise and more like contemporary streetwear.
Astro Boy becomes a graphic icon for a new generation.
